Golden Boy

$145.00

Taken with the Hasselblad 500 C/M on a cold, windy January afternoon in Dallas. This iconic statue has been around since 1916, originally sculpted by Evelyn Longman. It sat on top of the Western Electric building in New York City on Broadway near Fulton Street for 65 years before being moved around as the various AT&T iterations moved. It is officially called the Spirit of Communications, but it has had several names along the way. Unofficially, we call him Golden Boy.

This modern black wood frame looks great with pretty much everything, and its thin, gallery profile makes it perfect for small pieces. The frame measures 3/4" wide × 1 1/8" deep. Art dimensions: 12” x 12”. Final frame size is 18.75” x 18.75”. Every single frame is custom built by a team of experts in their Kentucky studio. With old school craftsmanship, new technology, and some serious attention to detail, they’re proud to represent a new style of American manufacturing.

We source the best materials in the industry like wood mouldings, acrylic glazing with UV protection, and acid-free mats and foam core. Premium is our starting point. Printing is on artist-grade paper with archival inks.
