Starship

$195.00

Like the Porsche PFM 3200, many in the aviation world will pan the Beechcraft Starship. One of the first cutting-edge composite designs with canard wings and aft-facing PT-6 turboprop engines, it was doomed by delays, costly redesigns and arduous FAA certification. As you can see from this image taken at the Wichita Aviation Museum in Kansas, it was and still is a beautiful airplane whose engineers and development teams reached for the stars — and just about got there. The Starship was shot on the incredible little Sony RX-100 II.

This modern black frame looks great with pretty much everything, and its thin, gallery profile makes it perfect for the Starship. It measures 3/4" wide × 1 1/4" deep. Art dimensions: 22” x 14.67”. Final frame size is 28.75” x 21.42”.

Each hardwood frame we build is one-of-a-kind, and no two sides are ever alike. There will be visible variation in this frame. Every one custom built by a team of experts in their Kentucky studio. With old school craftsmanship, new technology, and some serious attention to detail, they’re proud to represent a new style of American manufacturing.

We source the best materials in the industry like wood mouldings, acrylic glazing with UV protection, and acid-free mats and foam core. Premium is our starting point. Printing is on artist-grade paper with archival inks.
